Two little girls 70 years apart from each other establish a magical connection through a music box.

Susie and Laura are two eleven year old girls separated living in different eras. Laura has a suffocating relationship with her mother in present time, while Susie is neglected by her family in past. They establish an unexpected connection through a music box, finding out that they live in the same house, although 70 years distant from one another. The girls find out they can visit each other’s eras if they hold hands. Little by little they become best friends while getting to know each other’s universes, but everything tumbles down when Laura finds out that Susie is destined to be murdered. Both girls decide to fight the fate and prevent this crime and change the flow of history.
